Admitted students can start in the summer semester at THD, or in the summer semester at USB, at their discretion (they inform about this during registration). If the student does not manage to apply for a visa for entry in the summer semester, he / she must apply in the winter semester on USB.

Internship (professional practice) is a very important part of the entire study of the International Master’s Degree Program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (MAID). The aim of the internship is to use and verify the acquired knowledge and skills in the practical conditions of a particular business environment.

The condition for completing the joint study program (and the award of academic degrees resulting from it) is the successful passing of the final state examination. It consists of two parts:
- Thesis defense.
